Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy
Dar Al Riyadh are well aware of our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees, all people, life and the environment within the realms of our activities as the leading diversified design, engineering and construction management consultant within Saudi Arabia. The end results of our routine activities directly and indirectly affect the air, sea and land environment all around us, both visually and physically. Therefore, we are fully committed to leadership in HSE awareness and protection. Towards this objective, we implement the following HSE policy in our activities:
1. Our HSE policy is an integral part of our strategy and takes a priority in our daily decision making process. It is valid for the Dar Al Riyadh Group as a whole and will be developed in line with our policy of continual improvement.
2. We commit ourselves to observe the HSE legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice relevant to our company and activities, as well as other HSE commitments entered into.
3. We pursue the goal of no harm to all people and life.
4. We strive to reduce the impact upon the environment in the execution of our activities.
5. All our managers, teams and individual employees are responsible for HSE in their own area of influence.
6. We promote environmental awareness through information and training and include HSE performance in the appraisal of all managers.
7. We endeavor to increase the benefits of our activities for our clients and HSE in general, by improving economical and ecological efficiency and to thereby contribute to HSE protection.
8. We apply our HSE policy to the qualification of our joint venture partners, sub-contractors and suppliers wherever possible. We also use our influence to promote it in other ventures.
9. We advise our clients with regard to the HSE aspects of activities and projects.
10. We assess the HSE impacts of our business and analyze new activities prior to implementation accordingly.
11. We support the sustainable development of our society as well as the efforts of National and International authorities in HSE protection with our expertise.
12. We require all our employees to cease work, or prevent work commencing, where adequate controls of HSE are found not to be in place.
13. We promote open dialogue on HSE issues with our employees and clients.
14. We routinely, monitor, evaluate and audit our performance in accordance with this policy in order to achieve self - regulation of our activities.
